Alexandra Tamiko Da Dalt is the Special Projects Coordinator for the IF Hummingbird Foundation, working on the Hearts on Fire educational initiative and social media engagement. She is a graduate of the International Educational Development MA program at Teachers College, Columbia University with a concentration in Peace & Human Rights Education, and received her undergraduate degree in Gender & Sexuality Studies from NYU. Her studies and interests have led to opportunities working and teaching with the International Rescue Committee, the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations, Search for Common Ground, and Sesame Workshop, among others. Alexandra conducted research on gender in Timor-Leste as fellow of the Columbia Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict, & Complexity and the Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund, with that project receiving the Morton Deutsch Award for Graduate Social Justice Paper. Originally from Toronto, Alex enjoys baking and independent bookstores.
